The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases on our web site, unless otherwise specified in the listings.

Purchases & Payment

We accept PayPal, and you can use PayPal to pay with a debit or credit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account. We require payment at the time of purchase. If you have questions, please ask before you order.


Most prices include free shipping via USPS, usually either First Class Mail or Priority Mail (see the listing for particular products; if you order multiple products and the weight totals more than 16 oz., it will be sent Priority Mail even if individual items say First Class) and will be shipped within 48 hours (weekends excluded). For heavier items, like blocks or crankshafts, we generally assume you will either pick up the product or contact us to arrange for freight transportation.

We can ship items marked First Class via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 day, tracking) for an additional $4.00 fee. We will combine multiple orders when it is feasible to do so. Sorry, but we only ship within the continental United States (including APO/FPO addresses). No international shipments!!

If specific shipping information is included in the product listing, that information generally controls.


We accept returns if they are based on incorrect application or defective merchandise. You may choose to receive a refund or replacement if the product is in stock. Buyer will prepay for the merchandise return (sorry but we do not accept CODs). Your return will be inspected for damage from improper installation, to make sure it is in its original box, or for missing parts and/or components. After our careful inspection, we will either ship the correct part for free, or issue you a full refund by check.

Sales tax is included in the price where applicable.


Where the manufacturer’s warranty applies, we will specify in the listing. Most manufacturers warrant for a year, and we will do all we can to assist you in making a warranty claim where necessary, but most manufacturers require that you contact them directly.

For some products on our shelves, the manufacturers have been bought or merged, changed names, or gone out of business. In those cases, because our stock is limited and replacements are not available, we cannot provide a warranty for defects, and our warranty is limited to ensuring that the product you receive is the product you paid for, and it’s in new condition when shipped to you, unless the description specifically states that it’s remanufactured, rebuilt, or used.


If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to e-mail or call. We have a wide range of parts accumulated over more than 70 years, and a body of knowledge to match it.

While we would love to have detailed product application information on every product, it’s simply not feasible for a business our size with such a wide range of products. Some generalized OEM parts have literally hundreds of potential applications. Where manufacturers make the information available, we include it when we can, and we certainly specify applications when a product is particular to a small number of vehicles. We will include links to manufacturers’ lookup resources when we know them, so you can do your best to confirm before ordering.

However, if you’re unsure, your best bet is to e-mail or call; we’ll be happy to help you determine whether the part we have is the part you need.
